The CNC-OCL520 X 1700 is a high-performance CNC lathe specifically designed for turning the ends of various types of pipes and other cylindrical workpieces. It combines the functionality of a general-purpose lathe with advanced CNC control technology. This machine is equipped with a FANUC 0i mate CNC control system and a full-digital AC servo system, ensuring precise and efficient machining operations. **2. Main Components**
**2.1 Machine Base**
The machine base, headstock frame, carriage case, cross slide, and tool post are all constructed from high-strength HT-250 grey cast iron using resin sand casting. These components undergo three stages of aging treatment, including natural aging for over six months, to eliminate internal stresses and ensure long-term dimensional stability. The bed ways are treated with ultrasonic frequency induction hardening and precision grinding, and coated with PTFE anti-abrasion belts to reduce friction and enhance the longevity of the machine.
**2.2 Headstock**
The headstock is driven by a powerful 37 kW AC variable frequency motor, controlled via an AC frequency conversion system. It features a nine-speed spindle that can operate at variable speeds ranging from 6 to 205 RPM, offering flexibility in different machining scenarios.
**2.3 Feeding Movements**
Both the X-axis (cross feed) and Z-axis (longitudinal feed) are powered by independent AC servo motors through synchronous toothed belts and precision ball screw pairs. This setup allows for smooth and accurate movement at variable speeds. Semi-closed loop control using encoders ensures reliable positioning and repeatability.
**2.4 NC Turret**
