**APPLICATION**
Medium-controlled pressure reducing valves are simple yet effective control valves that provide accurate pressure regulation without the need for pneumatic or electric control. The twin-seat diaphragm design, combined with a spring-loaded proportional control mechanism, ensures precise performance. A PTFE protective foil makes the diaphragm physiologically safe and steam-resistant up to 180°C. Additionally, these valves do not require an external pilot line, making them easy to install and maintain.
**OPERATION**
The valve’s tapered plug adjusts its position to regulate the flow rate through the valve (PD). An intelligent process controller can also be used to manage both the position and flow rate using PID control, offering enhanced precision and adaptability in various industrial settings.
