Some photos from this morning’s fire at 1433 S. Kenneth. I arrived late after the flames had mostly been extinguished. The fire was in a three-story vacant apartment building marked with the ominous red "X." It was primarily on the third floor. Firefighters used a tower ladder, the 5-5-2’s Snorkel, a multi-purpose unit, and several handlines to tackle the blaze. Unfortunately, both TL14 and E99 had mechanical issues, so E117 was called in as a replacement for E99, and TL5 was dispatched for TL14.
