Kalrez Seals for Filter Housings
Filter housings equipped with perfluoroelastomer Kalrez seals are available from stock. While most filter housings come standard with Viton O-rings, there are several alternative sealing options that can be specified to meet specific application requirements. These custom seals can be installed at the time of delivery, ensuring a perfect fit and reliable performance.
In certain applications, standard Viton or Nitrile O-rings may not be suitable due to extreme temperatures or chemical exposure. For such cases, we offer filter housings with advanced sealing materials like Kalrez and Chemraz, which provide superior resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemicals. EPDM and silicone seals are also popular choices, especially in environments where flexibility and weather resistance are key factors.
