Ship management information system

Ship Management Information System (SMIS) is a well-known ship management information system developed by Shanghai Maritime University and COSCON School and Enterprise after years of joint efforts and cooperation. Hundreds of ships have been running for many years. This system is a sublimation of the ship management concept of China's shipping companies, covering all the basic functions of the ship management process. The system is a successful case of ship informationization. The application software has been tested by the National Software Designated Testing Center for product and performance, and obtained the software copyright registration certificate of the State Intellectual Property Office (company version: soft landing number 018850; ship version: soft landing number 018851), the results Appraised by Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and won the second prize of China Navigation Technology and the Shanghai Science and Technology Achievement Award of the Ministry of Communications in 2004, and obtained the software product registration certificate issued by Shanghai Informationization Committee in 2004 (Company version: Shanghai DGY-2004) -0400; ship version: Shanghai DGY-2004-0401). The application software is clearly in the leading position in the domestic market. Compared with similar foreign management systems, it is more in line with China's national conditions and the current ship management system, management model and management concept, and has been recognized by domestic shipping companies and peers. SMIS has been approved by China Classification Society (software), (certificate number: CDPM050002), and was officially identified by COSCO Group as a branch company of COSCO Group and a ship promotion product. I. System Introduction The design of the ship management information system adopts the basic management concept of “technical management is the foundation, safety control is the core, and cost control is the purpose”. According to the existing network equipment and business conditions of China Ship Management Corporation, the system hardware architecture design makes full use of existing resources and adopts distributed topology network. The database server internally exchanges data with the middleware through a routing device such as a hub or a router, and externally interacts with the terminal through the Internet through the Web server. The ship data is regularly exchanged with the onshore server through satellite communication to maintain the consistency of the ship's shore data and resource sharing. According to the current management organization setup and business process requirements of China Ship Management Corporation, the ship management information system is divided into two versions, the agency version (ship management company) and the ship version, which are used for business management of the company and the ship respectively. The ship version is mainly based on technical management and safety control, focusing on the maintenance of ship equipment and various maintenance, inspection, inspection project arrangement and process control, equipment safety status monitoring and evaluation, ship navigation and equipment operation parameter registration, oil consumption management. According to the company's safety and quality system requirements, we will do all the work and provide the information and data needed for decision-making for the agency management system. The ship version has ten functional modules. The company version pays attention to the supervision and guidance of the maintenance and management of the ship, ship safety monitoring, ship inspection, ship repair arrangement and process control, ship spare parts, material procurement process control, ship operation cost control, and decision-making basis for decision-making. Features. The company version has a total of 12 functional modules. Second, the system features: System business process based on the company, ship safety and quality management system, to achieve the normal operation of ship management process control and the company's safety and quality management system to ensure safer navigation, cleaner oceans, and healthier personnel. Standardization and standardized management of ship and shore data and codes. The equipment management adopts the China Classification Society Ship Machinery Plan Maintenance System (PMS) Inspection Guide (CCS GD03-2002), the ship cycle inspection CMS management system requirements and the ship maintenance and repair system (CWBT) standard code, ship equipment classification and code adoption. National standard (GB/T 16558.2-1996), ship materials use ISO or IMPA standard code and description, ship management basic data mostly adopt international standards, national standards and industry standards. The system adopts advanced management modes and business processes at home and abroad. It is conducive to improving the existing management mode of the ship management company, which is conducive to improving the control of ship equipment integrity and ship safety, and achieving ship cost control and optimization operation. The system interface is simple, easy to operate, easy to learn and use. The system adopts Chinese and English selection interface to meet the special inspection requirements of ship inspection, PSC, FSC, ISPS, etc., and the data entry is not affected by the language. You can select Chinese (simplified and traditional) or English as needed; the system is for users. There is no high demand for computer level and language level. Ship and shore data realize timing synchronization, resource sharing, small data communication volume, and low transmission cost. Shipshore data timing synchronization has a “no change and no transmission” mechanism, and has a high compression ratio (more than 90%) for data files. There are no special requirements for communication equipment and communication software. Currently, existing communication equipment and software on ships are available. Can meet the requirements. When designing the system, pay attention to the possibility of redevelopment and expansion for future application software upgrades or changes in the company's business processes. The system is equipped with various external interfaces, which facilitates data exchange and resource sharing with other management systems (shipping systems, personnel systems, financial systems) of the company; it also enables data exchange with suppliers and affiliated companies. The operating environment of the system is low, and the existing network, hardware and communication resources of the company and the ship can be utilized as much as possible, which is beneficial to reduce the initial cost of the system. The system has multiple data backup functions, which can be restored at any time when needed. The network has a firewall, which can effectively prevent the spread of computer viruses in the network and affect system usage.
