Previously, new car tires were not classified according to the diameter of the tire when they were imported. The new regulations classify imported new car tires with diameters within 15 inches and 15-16 inches. The new regulations do not involve changes in import tariffs, and they remain at a level of 20% and not less than €6.90 per article. The refinement of the customs code helps the Customs Union Committee increase or decrease the tax rate according to the diameter of the tire.
