Dongying Haike Xinyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. has successfully completed its 30,000-ton-per-year dimethyl carbonate (DMC) project, which is set to begin production soon. This new facility will be the largest single DMC production unit in China, marking a significant milestone for the company. With this expansion, the company's total annual capacity for DMC will reach 50,000 tons, while its propylene glycol production will increase to 40,000 tons per year. In addition to this major production expansion, Haike Xinyuan has also made notable progress in the research and development of DMC as an additive for gasoline and diesel. The company has achieved breakthroughs in applying DMC as an anti-knocking agent in petrol and an oxygenating agent in diesel. They have developed preliminary technologies for promoting and applying DMC in these areas and have already started small-scale test sales, signaling a promising future for their innovative products in the energy sector.
