Leaf area meter for determination of single leaf area of persimmon

The photosynthesis of fruit trees is inseparable from the application of leaves, and leaf area coefficient is even more important. However, the determination of the leaf area of persimmon is still a blank. In addition, when using the correlation regression method to determine the area of the leaves, it is only a simple linear regression of an independent variable (such as leaf length, leaf width, or product of length and width). To estimate, the use of multiple linear regression analysis for determination of single leaf area of fruit trees has not been reported. To this end, we have used a variety of methods to determine the area of single leaves of persimmon trees. Different regression equations have been calculated with different variables to find an accurate method for the determination of large single leaf area of persimmon trees. At the same time, the accuracy of the grid square method and the photoelectric leaf area meter method commonly used in the determination of fruit and leaf area was analyzed. The leaf area meter is an important instrument for measuring the area of the leaves, and it is certainly suitable to determine the area of the persimmon leaves.

The test method was as follows: 1.1 Immediately after the leaves were taken, the area of each leaf was measured with a leaf area meter. 1.2 Each leaf is accurately drawn on a thick and even paper, and the actual area of each leaf is calculated using the paper weighing method (this method is time-consuming, but with high accuracy), and it also accurately determines each Leaf length and width, length from leaf base to tip, leaf width at the widest point of the leaf. 1.3 The area of each leaf was determined by a grid plate (the checkerboard was made of coordinate paper). Finally, a statistical analysis was performed using a Pc-1500 microcomputer.

From the results of the measurement, the difference between the area of the persimmon leaves measured by the checkerboard (containing 100 grids per square centimeter) and the leaf area meter was not significant, so these two methods All of them are suitable for the determination of the single leaf area of the persimmon tree, and the error of the grid plate measurement result is smaller. Therefore, when using these two methods, it can be selected according to the number of blades to be measured and the required accuracy. In addition to the above, we have also made a significant difference in the determination of the single leaf area of persimmon trees using the simple linear regression equation (x for length x width) and multivariate linear regression equations obtained from this experiment, the grid plate method and the photoelectric leaf area meter method. The results of the determination and analysis showed that the differences between the two regression equations and the measurement results of the grid plate and the leaf area meter were not significant.
