Delfast has officially finalized a contract to deliver several TopCop electric bikes to the police department in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. This initiative marks a significant step toward modernizing the local police force and addressing both operational and environmental concerns.

During an official presentation attended by the police chief and the mayor of the city, there was unanimous agreement to proceed with testing the Delfast TopCop models. Currently, the local police rely on traditional bicycles to patrol the bustling downtown area. However, these conventional bikes lack the power and endurance required for efficient coverage of larger territories, especially in challenging terrain. The Delfast TopCop model addresses these limitations perfectly, offering extended range and superior performance.

The TopCop electric bike boasts an impressive range of up to 174 miles (240 kilometers) on a single charge without needing pedal assistance. Its top speed reaches 50 mph (80 km/h), making it significantly faster than standard patrol vehicles. Additionally, the bike comes equipped with advanced features such as GPS tracking, remote start capability, and motor locking functions, which are essential for law enforcement operations.
