Northlake active member death (more)

I just returned from covering the funeral for Northlake Fire Department Lieutenant Herbert Milnes, Jr., and I have to say, it was an incredibly moving experience. The turnout was overwhelming, with firefighters from all over coming together to honor one of their own. Tim Olk did an amazing job capturing the solemnity and respect of the occasion in his photographs. The first image really struck me—there’s something about the way the light hits the crowd that gives it a haunting beauty. It feels like it could be a painting rather than a photograph. You can almost feel the weight of everyone's emotions in that moment. The second picture shows the casket being carried out, and it’s just so poignant. It’s hard not to tear up when you see the respect and care with which they handle such a sacred responsibility. Each step seems deliberate, as if every movement is infused with reverence. In the third shot, there’s a lone firefighter standing apart from the rest. He looks deep in thought, maybe reflecting on his own experiences or perhaps honoring his fallen comrade in his own quiet way. It’s these small details that make the photos so powerful. The fourth image captures the somber procession as it winds through the streets. The community has come out in droves, lining the sidewalks with flags and respectful silence. It’s clear how much this man meant to them. Another photo shows the honor guard presenting the flag. The crisp movements, the precision—they’re more than just ceremonial; they’re symbolic of the brotherhood within the fire service. It’s hard not to be moved by the discipline and tradition on display. Finally, the last image depicts the final moments of the ceremony. The sky overhead is overcast, adding to the reflective mood. There’s a sense of closure but also of loss, knowing that someone who gave so much is no longer with us. These images really tell the story of how deeply loved and respected Lieutenant Milnes was. Tim Olk did an excellent job conveying the gravity of the situation without needing any words at all. It’s always tough to cover events like this because you know you’re witnessing something truly special, yet bittersweet.

Arc Teeth Timing Belt Pulley

Arc Teeth Timing Belt pulley has more advantages than chain transmission. It has the advantages of smooth transmission, high transmission efficiency, and good heat resistance.

Due to its tooth shape has arc characteristics, which is different from the square teeth of trapezoidal and T-type Belt Pulley. Arc teeth Timing Belt pulley can meet the needs of high-power transmission, and its transmission power is higher than that of trapezoidal and T-type belt pulley 3-5 times larger.

With the continuous development of industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing, arc teeth timing belt pulley, as a key transmission device, will further expand its application in high precision, high efficiency and intelligence. The design and manufacturing of our arc teeth timing belt pulley will pay more attention to innovation and technological breakthroughs to meet the changing market needs.
