Still and Box Alarm fire in Chicago, 11-3-18
Hey everyone,
This just came in from Eric Haak. He sent over some quick images from a Still & Box Alarm that went down in Chicago on Saturday afternoon (11/3). The fire broke out in the old Stock Yards area, and it seems like it was mostly confined to a 30x75 foot metal-clad building that was being used to store pallets.
The firefighters really seemed to have their act together, working efficiently to get the situation under control. It's always impressive to see how quickly they manage to handle these kinds of situations.
Take a look at these photos below. They give you a good idea of the scale of the operation and the dedication of the first responders on the scene. Eric Haak captured all these shots, and I've added captions to each one for context.

It’s moments like these that remind us how important it is to support our local emergency services. These folks put themselves in harm's way every single day, and we owe them a debt of gratitude.
Stay safe out there!
Best,
