West Chicago 3rd Alarm fire 11-4-12
Subject: Third Alarm Fire at Apartment Building in West Chicago
Hi everyone,
This is John Tulipano. Just wanted to share what happened earlier today. Around 10:15 AM, the West Chicago Fire Protection District received a call about a fire at 1212 Kings Court. When they arrived, it was clear that there was a significant blaze engulfing a three-story brick apartment building. This building had 24 units and measured roughly 50 feet by 125 feet.
Unfortunately for me, I got there pretty late into the situation. I’ve already uploaded some photos to give you an idea of what went down, but the rest of them can be found on my SmugMug site. I’ll drop the link below so you can check them out if you're interested.
I've included some images here, taken by yours truly, showing different angles of the fire. The intensity of the flames was quite something to witness, especially as the firefighters worked tirelessly to control the situation.
